Email Consent & Sending

This policy governs marketing emails sent through Forge, to stay compliant (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

1. Prior consent

You may only send marketing emails to people who have given valid consent. You must be able to prove it.

2. Source of contacts

By importing contacts, you attest that you obtained their consent. Forge does not send to purchased or scraped lists without consent.

3. Unsubscribe

Every send includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribes are honored immediately and permanently.

4. Sender identification

Every email clearly identifies the sending business and a valid contact address.

5. Records

We keep the consent and unsubscribe records needed for compliance.

6. Operator responsibility

The operator is responsible for the compliance of their sends. Abuse may lead to suspension of the sending feature.
